Pesto Sauce

  • 1 c Fresh basil leaves
    1/4 c EV olive oil
    1/4 c parmesan cheese
    2 tbs pine nute
    1 clove of garlic
    juice of half a lemon

  • Prep - Peel garlic and toss in frying pan with the pine nuts on medium heat. Gently roast until golden brown. 

    Layer - Layer the chopper with pine nuts and garlic. Then add the basil pouring the lemonjuice on the basil,, add the parmesan cheese and  olive oil last to the chopper. 

    Chop - puree away until the sauce is the consistancy you are looking for.
